Good Morning!
No, it's not the morning but that's what I hear every time I walk into the library to work at 1pm. I find it charming.
Today was a challenge to continue to work. I think because I’m attempting to change my daily routine and that causes setbacks. Also, the work I’m doing at the moment is trying to think of a bunch of different weapons for R&R, which is cool but also kinda tedious to make them fun and unique.
No Mark, they don’t all need to be fun and unique.
Thank you for that. Looking up ideas has also been quite practical so I should continue to do that.
I’d also like to make another fun little micro-game.
Dice and Things was enjoyable to make and I even got to play it a bit on my own, as well as make it on TTS.
I also got started on reading a book I got for Christmas called “The NEW One Minute Manager”. An easy read and honestly very practical advice. The two things I’ve learned from it so far are: 1} set goals with your manager and continue to set goals as you need to 2} look for reasons to praise people
There’s another skill that I have yet to read but it's honestly a very good read so far.
So, here are some goals for the week:
1] Finalize the rules to GG
2] Make a new Micro-game
3] Complete one storyline in R&R
For #3 I realize I put storyline instead of rules. I think because the storyline is more pivotal to where I am in making the game and the time spent on making fun weapons can be more of a side task, rather than a whole days ordeal.
Some would say I wasted the time today working on it, but in the end I have clarity on my path and can improve for the next time. So thats a W.
Okay, thanks for reading my brain farts.
Here's a smile for you:
