That made me chuckle in my head. I think that counts as smiling. So with the hard part out of the way, let’s get into the real meat and potatoes.

I’m currently riding home in a train from NYC and the idea for a board game came into my mind. The happen stance is actually quite interesting.

Settle in.

So, the day was spent in the city for my sisters birthday. My cousin and I are taking the train back and she goes “should we run?” I agree and we make the subway on perfect timing. We then make it to GCT and I run to the bathroom, we find our train and we find our seat. It was quite packed so we had to walk for some time to find a seat.

A lady, 5 minutes later, asks me if she can sit. I say yes and she slides in, making for a tighter and less comfortable car ride. Which, allowed me to think of a new game.

I think the point of the story is that saying yes can lead to good things. Maybe that discomfort is good? Do what you will with it.

The game is cooler than the story though.

So, the board is played across a kitchen table or one with ample room.

The board is a mat that rolls out and looks like:

So with the board set, players will roll 6 separate dice: D4, 6, 8,12, 20 and 100.

When the player rolls the die, the number it lands on will be multiplied by the score for the area it lands within. Line is in.

The D4 lands on the small square in the bottom left on a 3, this square is worth 25 points. The player earns a total of 75 for the turn.

Players will go around in whatever order is decided on, using whatever die they choose to use. They can only use each die once.

While the points aren't labelled and the lines are a little messy, the concept is there. I'll do my best to make more simple games like this, readily available and customizable for every person.

I think that's all I have to share for now.

Thanks for reading and I'll see you in the next one.
