The Gazbee Universe

Welcome back, today is 12/18/24 and today I was busy and so I wasn't able to continue work on either game. That's okay because it gives me the opportunity to do some world building.

Located deep in the Andromeda Galaxy, the planet Foese is one that is hungry for money, or Bones as they like to say. The planet has been striped of all its natural resources in an attempt to build up the coordinating industry and make the figure head as much money as possible. Today, that leaves it its current state of buying resources from other planets, having them shipped to Foese as quickly, and cheaply, as possible.

The inhabitants are masters of the Exchange and are able to find the lowest of low prices. But with all of them able to do so so well, the real question is: Who will do it first?

Leading the life of fighting for your resources and struggling to survive can be quite taxing and frankly when the Foetians get home, all the want to do is unwind and forget about the rat race.

This brings us to our feathery friend, Gazbee Goose. Gazbee Goose is the star of the hit show "Get Going Gazbee" where we find our friend beak deep in trouble as he goes about his day. Washing off in the fountain and splashing nearby pedestrians, stealing bread from the local baker or honking at children as they try and pet his pretty pink pelt.

The Gazbee Corporation who produces shows based around the lovable and rambunctious goose saw the opportunity to expand and set their sights on characters that were hard to hate: hero's. From all over the world, every culture has a hero who has helped them with their tactical touch and secret powers. The Gazbee Corporation is here to tell their story. From the Nordic vikings to the Aztec warriors and even to the underwater sea-people of Vleimdis (yes theres a mix of real world and made up, I'll get there).

Now that the acclaimed hero's have told their story, The Gazbee Corporation is here to put their stories into action in an all new format: A gameshow. Hosted by non other than Gazbee Goose.

Contestants will be brought into Gazbee Studios and put onto a set where they take the role of their favorite hero and go back and forth, solving problems in the all new show Round & Round. Contestants will complete quests, claim rewards and commence battle with other contestants to claim victory and hoist The Gilded Gazbee.

After the acclaimed success of Round & Round, The Gazbee Corporation saw its opportunity to make another game show, this one far closer to the hearts of the fine Foetians, titled simply: Gazbee's Game.

Here, contestants will use their day to day trading skills to invest into The Exchange and outwit their opponents with the revolutionary Spurr. The Spurr acts as an influencer that can both raise, and lower, the price of either of the two available Markets. By playing their Spurrs at the right time, contestants can earn big or spoil their opponents investments. And of course, our favorite Goose Gazbee will play a role! While Gazbee won't be hosting this gameshow, he will be on Investment Island with the contestants and chasing them down, pecking their beautiful Bones and scrumptious Spurrs away from them, so watch out!

Thank you for reading to the end! There's still plenty of work to do to flesh out this universe and the two games within it, but I'm really happy with this and think its a great basis to build off of.
