I'll start with information that's pertinent to this website.
I've begun to plan out the idea of making a PDF available for purchase for both Gazbee's Game and Pop the Penguin.
These PDF's would be blank copies of the respective game and book. For the book: parents purchase the PDF, print it, and have their kids color it in. A fun activity that they can come back to for multiple days. Also, avoiding the need for a publisher and manufacturer. A bit of a win win.
For the game, a bit more complex: Player's purchase the PDF. Within it, is a set of rules for how to play, a list of materials needed to play, a story for which the world of Gazbee Inc. is set in. While this does create some difficulties because it forces players to do some work to create the board and find the resources necessary to play, the components are quite simple. Playing cards, cardboard, poker chips. Fairly simple.
Again, this avoids the need for a publisher and a manufacturer. Something that causes many stress.
So, where does that leave me? I'm left to create 2 separate PDF's for each entity. Create an ad space / following through the internet. Create a storefront for which the PDF's can be purchased.
The website you are reading these words from has the capability to sell products, so thats a win.
I do have an online course that teaches how to create proper ads online. And I'm willing to learn the Tiktok / Instagram algorithm to create an even larger following.
Business info sorted, as a young professional, it can be difficult to make money and find your way in the world. I've recently been recruited to join a modeling agency. Very cool. I'm also in talks with a former employer to help with their landscaping. Also very cool.
While I'm not broke, I do need to be conscious of my money flow. I expect it to skyrocket into the positive over the next few weeks :)
Been a minute since I made a smiley...
